Information about the protection of applicant data of Sherpa.ai
This Data Protection Policy complements the SHERPA EUROPE, S.L. Privacy Policy, and regulates the processing of SHERPA EUROPE, S.L. job applicants.
Responsible Processing Party
SHERPA EUROPE, S.L. (henceforth known as SHERPA) states that data of a personal nature of any JOB APPLICANT that provides or may, in the future, provide will be processed in accordance with the provisions of this clause.
Purpose of Processing
The purpose of the data collection is to manage the selection and hiring process of the employees and staff of SHERPA, including, but not limited to:
- Revision of information and characteristics of candidates.
- Analysis of candidates’ training, qualification, and experience.
- Collection of references, tests, and reports.
- Negotiation with employment service providers of potential employees.
- Sending offers and/or contracts.
- Signing of contracts.
- Organization and management of selection processes.
- Holding interviews.
Legitimation
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is the consent of the JOB APPLICANT.
Storage of Personal Data
The data provided will be stored for the time necessary to complete the actions related to the corresponding selection process, for a maximum of one (1) year, upon completion of said process.
Recipients of Personal Data
It is hereby stated that personal data may be made available to external personnel with whom SHERPA collaborates with during the selection process, solely and exclusively for the indicated purposes.
Additionally, the personal data of the JOB APPLICANT may be processed and communicated within the framework of actions, preparatory acts, and review, prior to business operations of any nature, such as substitution in work activity, including, but not limited to, merging, splitting, global transfer of assets and liabilities, contribution or transfer of business or a branch of business activity, or any corporate restructuring of a similar nature, contemplated by company law; as well as in the context of the aforementioned commercial transactions.
Third-Party Data
In the event that, at any time during the process, the JOB APPLICANT provides SHERPA with personal data of a third party, with which they have some relationship, the JOB APPLICANT guarantees that they are legitimately entitled to facilitate said data that they have provided, and have obtained consent to communicate the data of said third party, responding in the event that this is not the case. Nevertheless, SHERPA will make every effort to act appropriately in relation to the treatment of said third parties.
Updating Data
The JOB APPLICANT commits and is obligated to immediately communicate any modification of their personal data to SHERPA, in order for the information contained in SHERPA’s databases to remain updated and error-free at all times.
Security Measures
SHERPA informs the JOB APPLICANT that it has the technical and organizational security measures necessary to guarantee the security of their personal data and to prevent any alteration, loss, processing, and/or unauthorized access, given the state of the technology, the nature of the data stored, and the risks to which they are exposed, whether it be human action, the physical environment, or nature.
Rights
The JOB APPLICANT may, in the terms established in the current data protection regulation, and in compliance with the regulation, revoke at any time the authorization granted for the processing and transfer of personal data, as well as exercise the rights to access, rectification, suppression, opposition, the right to request a limitation of the processing of their personal data, the right to portability, and the right to file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency. To do so, an email with proof of identity may be sent to the Human Resources Department at Sherpa at support@sherpa.ai.
